Our Award in Creative Media Research is an offline journal extension that provides researchers with an opportunity to produce, curate and disseminate creative media-based research for a unique platform and audience.
Since its launch in June 2014, Bath Spa University's MediaWall has exhibited a number of artworks including those by international artists Julian Opie and Bruce Munro. The MediaWall is an architectural scale portrait format gallery, consisting of ten 55” panels and standing 4 meters wide and 7.5 meters tall.

Authors should choose one of the four submission categories, depending on which suits the style and focus of your research.
+ SINGLE-PIECE EXPLORATIONS
A single video, audio or digital piece accompanied by a 1,500 word research statement
+ MULTI-PIECE PORTFOLIOS
A mixed-media portfolio of video, image, digital and/or audio accompanied by a 3,000 word route-map
+ PRACTICE DISCOVERIES
A 6,000 word article illustrated by video, audio, images
+ ISSUES IN CREATIVE PRACTICE RESEARCH
A 5 minute video essay, podcast or blog reflecting on new experimental methodologies of creative practice research
